Andrew Higgs


Andrew has broad experience overseeing operationally intensive real estate assets across diverse geographies.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (BComm) from Ryerson University, with post-graduate studies in urban land economics.


Heather Kirk 

Chief Investment Officer

She currently manages Revera’s investment, financing and treasury functions globally.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (BComm) from Concordia University and is a CFA Charter holder. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Minto Apartment REIT, serving on REIT’s Audit and Compensation, Governance and Nominating Committees.


Kim Kowalik

Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary

Kim is pivotal in the organization’s Legal team as an advisor and counsellor on various priorities, including advancing Revera’s Long-Term Care redevelopment program.

Kim holds an LLB and MBA from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Waterloo.


Brian Holland

Vice President, Investment Management

Prior to joining Revera in 2014, Brian worked in private equity (Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan), investment banking (Macquarie Capital Markets) and corporate development (CML Healthcare).

Brian holds an Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from Ivey Business School at Western University.

Cameron Scully

Vice President, Construction and Design

Currently, he manages Revera’s design and construction projects with a primary focus on delivering best-in-class design for seniors within the Retirement and Long-Term Care portfolio.

Cameron holds over 15 years of experience in leading the design, development, and delivery of complex construction projects throughout North America.


Dianne Hatch

Vice President, Value Creation

For the past 20 years, she has been involved in the asset management of a range of seniors housing investments, from seniors apartments to long-term care, and over geographies that include Canada, with a focus on Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba, the US, and England.

Dianne holds a Bachelor of Home Economics from the University of Manitoba, and an MBA from York University.


Gilbert Schiller

Vice President, Real Estate

Gilbert has held increasingly senior roles in the organization in asset management, development, and acquisitions and currently oversees all real estate functions and portfolio oversight at Revera.

Gilbert holds a Master of Planning Degree focused on land use and real estate development from Queens University, along with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Victoria.


Kulbir Nijjer-Nanda

Vice President, Finance & Operations

In her current role, Kulbir leads the Accounting, Finance, FP&A, and Financial Reporting processes while ensuring alignment of the Finance functions with the strategic operational direction of Revera.

Kulbir graduated from McGill University with a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry); she also holds the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant.


Sylvia von Ellm

Vice President, Taxation

Sylvia is responsible for all aspects of tax compliance, tax planning and tax accounting for Revera and its subsidiaries in Canada, the US and the UK. She plays a key role in structuring Revera’s merger, acquisition and disposition activity.

Sylvia holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and in Taxation from McGill University. Previously, she was a tutorial leader for Parts 1 and 2 of the CICA In-depth Tax Program.


Tricia Wade

Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management

Tricia has extensive knowledge of senior care operations with expertise in business continuity, crisis management, policy management, quality, and risk management. Tricia is responsible for traditional and enterprise risk management as well as internal audit.

Tricia holds a BA from Western University and holds the designations of Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and Canadian Risk Manager (CRM).
